Mr. Lowisz will present “Combining Technology with the Handshake in Today’s Changing Recruiting Landscape.” He notes that the methods of recruiting are continuing to change and evolve in today’s unending mission to get the right talent.
Mr. Lowisz explains, “The use of technology-based tools continues to be on the rise. Between online job boards, networking and social sites, online memberships, as well as others, it’s difficult to know if any of these are really going to deliver the talent you want. These technology tools may give you quick access to potential candidates, but if you don’t know how to treat them once you have them, your efforts will fail…these tactics must be combined to gain the highest recruiting success. There is no question that today’s advancements can help in the hunt, but it’s important to remember that the best recruiting will always require the “personal touch” in order to be 100% successful. Establishing a relationship with the candidate is the only way to confirm that you have a perfect match. Previous to Research Corporation of America, Stephen was the Managing Director and General Partner of the Global Intelligence Division of cors, Inc., a recruitment research company headquartered in Chicago, IL. He was responsible for business development. Under his direction, Stephen obtained the highest client satisfaction rate of all the partners.
